Remembering your essence

How do you describe an experience so different from any other earthly experience using words from our everyday life?

Even though everyone experiences Watsu in their own unique way, when asking my clients about their experience, many of them answer that the closest they can come is that Watsu brings you back to what is experienced in the womb. Something that immediately reminds your essence; the warm, soothing, gentle, nurturing, and loving space of the womb where gravity does not exist.

These qualities enable you to deeply relax, let go, and surrender to an unfamiliar (yet so familiar) state of being. Not only is the body invited to release deep-seated patterns, but the mind will also be able to let go of the need for protection and excessive thinking.

From sympathetic to parasympathetic nervous system

During a Watsu session, your body undergoes a remarkable transformation. As you surrender to the warmth of the water and the gentle movements, while being held in full presence, your nervous system calms, guiding you into a state of deep relaxation and restoration.
