Hi! Hallo! Hola! Welcome to my online 'home'. I am Anouke Jansen. I am a WATSU® Practitioner, certified by WABA (the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association).

After a career as a Communication Professional and several years of a personal healing/soul searching journey, in the summer of 2019 I first came into contact with WATSU®. This happened at a garden festival at a friends place in my home country The Netherlands. I immediately experienced a very strong connection with this special type of bodywork in the water. As if I came home.

For me this work perfectly combines my natural affinity with water and its playful nature, my deep curiosity of exploring the value of safety and trust, and my respect for listening to and remembering the wisdom of the body.
 

A few months after my first WATSU® experience, I left on a world trip with my family. Our first destination: Auroville, India. This is where I completed my first two WATSU® trainings. In the years that followed I continued my education by completing several water- and bodywork trainings and lots of practice in countries like Belgium, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Poland and Slovakia. Yes, I have traveled a lot in recent years. But in the warm water and surrounded by ‘water friends’ I always feel right at home.
 
My home base is Amsterdam. I live there together with my husband and two daughters. It's also the place where I have an ongoing offer of services for the local & visiting (tourism) community. 
My dream is to keep spreading aquatic bodywork (WATSU® and more) around the world as well as to grow the ‘water community’ in my home country. As part of this I dream about manifesting my own beautiful Spa with tropical vibes. Hopefully I meet you there one day! (For the time being, you are very welcome in the beautiful private pool where I work currently.)
